Recycling at ISM

The Blazing Marshmallows took a walk around ISM to search for recycling bins and make some observations about what they found. The students had great observations and made an action plan on how to continue to help ISM be green.

The students found many recycling bins around ISM. There are bins in the ES, MS, and HS areas. A few observations were the labels were not easy to read and some of the placements of the bins were in poor locations.  

The Blazing Marshmallows were shocked to see so much garbage and recycling on the ground when bins were right there! We decided to be green and pick up other people's rubbish.  

We came back and had a class meeting. We created a list of observations from our recycling walk and we even had a question to further our understanding! 

The Blazing Marshmallows had wonderful ideas on how to continue helping and created a wonderful action plan! 

The Blazing Marshmallows are well on their way to helping the Earth!
