Pen Pals from WAB!

The Blazing Marshmallows got an exciting package of letters this week! Each child received a letter from a grade one student that is in Mr. L's class at WAB. Mr. L was one of the teachers that came and co-taught in our room earlier in the year.

Before starting, we talked about what we need to include in a  letter. We found that you need a greeting and then you write your message. At the end, you need to write a closing.

These are some of our cards that remind us of what to write in our letter.

Each of us got a black folder to keep our letters. We made covers so it can look nice and we know it is ours!

Here is one letter from a WAB friend. 

We wrote answers to their questions and wrote our own questions! 

I have a connection! I like pizza too! 

I wrote the answers. I want to know if she has brothers or sisters!

This pen pal had lots of questions! 

I want to know what school he is from. If we write questions, will they write back?!

We hope our pen pals keep writing to us! This is very exciting for everyone and we love writing our letters!
