4th Grade Buddies

The Blazing Marshmallows have been paired up with the Dare Devils this school year! The Dare Devils are Ms. Dingrando's 4th grade class. Our goal for buddy time is to read, learn, share, and build a strong relationship. We have begun our time by playing and getting to know each other. Each 1st grader has been paired up with one 4th grader. Big Buddy/Little Buddy sessions allow children to further their social and communication skills. It allows children to take ownership of their learning and build a strong relationship with a person that can help them with learning and social issues. The buddies spent time reading to each other and playing creatively this week. Next week, we will focus on digging deeper into the 'creative' disposition.
